Glenn, Pauline Ira
Pauline Ira Glenn, age 91, of Celina, Texas passed away on October 6, 2014. She was born on September 18, 1923 to Mattie Lou (Norris) and Captain McKinley Higginbotham in Edom, Texas. On February 23, 1951, Pauline married Jack C Glenn in Watkins Glen, New York. She worked for the City of San Diego in accounts payable and was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Pauline is survived by three children, Jerry Glenn and his wife, Nancy of Salem, Utah, Kenn Glenn and his wife, Sandie of Cypress, Texas, Linda Palmer and her husband, Chad of Celina, Texas; eighteen grandchildren, Jeff Glenn, Joey Glenn, Anna Barkle, Jimmy Glenn, Rebekah Brooks, Jessica Glenn, Deborah Clasby, Rikki Glenn, Tamara Glenn, Danielle Glenn, Matt Glenn, Josh Glenn. David Glenn, Jon Glenn, Mike Glenn, Jennifer Barney, Aaron Palmer and Kristin Young; thirty great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. Pauline is preceded in death by her husband of 62 years Jack C Glenn, great-granddaughter, Kaelyn Glenn; sisters, Lucille Hamilton and Maggie Ruth (Brown) Dixon; brothers, James (Red) Higginbotham, Chester Higginbotham, and Douglas Downs ; parents Mattie Lou and Captain M Higginbotham. A Funeral Service will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 11000 Eldorado Parkway, Frisco, Texas 75035, on Wednesday, October 15, 2014 at 11:00 AM with Bishop Lynn Woodrum officiating. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park in Allen, Texas. Family and friends are invited to a Visitation prior to the funeral service on Wednesday, October 15, 2014 from 9:00 AM to 10:45 AM.
