Carr-Leamon, Sharon Lorraine Dutch
Sharon Lorraine Carr-LeamonĀ (Dutch), 71, of HideawayĀ Lake, TX, passed away on April 3, 2015 after a long battle with ovarian cancer.
Memorial services wilt be held at Hideaway Lake, TX on April 24th from 2pm - 4pm at the Hideaway Lake Country Club. Sharon had a love and passion for the game of golf and to celebrate her life, we will honor her by dressing in casual or golfing attire.
Sharon was born in Amarillo, TX on September 18, 1943.Ā She graduated from Roswell High School in New Mexico.
Sharon was married to Robert Leamon, Jr, on February 14, 2004; they were married for eleven years.
Sharon worked as a insurance broker for Blue Cross BlueĀ Shield of Texas, Alexander & Alexander and J.D. Williams in El Paso, TX and retired in 2009.Ā Sharon enjoyed golf, mahjong, time spent with family and friends andĀ shopping. Sharon was also actively involved in her church as well as the YWCA Board in El Paso, where she served as President from 2006-2007.
Sharon is survived by Ed Dutch (Brother) and wife Sara, Amy Engallina (niece), Frank and Michael Engallina, Molly Dutch (niece), Jeff Carr (son), Steve Carr (son),Ā Mallory (daughter in law) and MacKenzie (grand-daughter), Natalie Carr (daughter) and Shana Swint (daughter in law), Robert Leamon, Jr,(spouse), Gail Dutch and other family and friends.
Sharon is preceded in death by her father, Jerome William Dutch and mother, Cora Willene Stafford.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to the National Ovarian Cancer Coalition or Hospice. The family of Sharon wishes to thank The Hospice of East Texas in Tyler and Community Hospice of Texas in the DFW area for their wonderful assistance and care during Sharon's battle with cancer.
