My apologies for this very belated condolence. I only recently learned of Orville’s passing. What a kind and gentle man! In January of 1986, I walked into The Town North Group. On Wednesday, Jan. 27th, I will celebrate 30 years as a friend of Bill W. I also worked with Orville at General Motors. I have such fond memories of many talks with Orville over the years. I’m sorry that we lost touch.
May God’s Grace be with you, Orville… and with all of your Family and Friends. God Bless.

Never will forget the countless times we all played basketball in his driveway. My mom tells me that when I was born Mr Davis asked her what my nickname will be…when she said “Billy” he told her ” oh, no…he looks like a “Willie”, so you can say he helped name me! And the time Mr and Mrs Davis took me out shopping for my first pair for my first pair of shoes! His kindness will always be remembered…

I didn’t know Mr. Davis too well. I was only able to serve him at our bank for a year. But he was always extremely pleasant, humorous, and kind. Even when he was battling with his health he always found time to suqeeze in a joke or two. Thank you for the laughs.

God bless you and your family, Mr. Davis

    “Hey Mr. Davis”
Those words I will never mutter again. They always were said with such happiness. My brother and I would play basketball on his familys driveway. He got so used to us that he wouldnt mind when we walk right in the house to get our ball that went over the fence. Always put his happiness 2nd to others.
