āI highly recommend this funeral home and crematorium; when I had to make and pay for my brotherās arrangements across state lines, Evelyn Montonya, in particular, demonstrated both compassion and professionalism and made a very sad and difficult situation much easier. Many thanks.ā
Dave & Paul once went with us on a trip to the Fort Worth Carswell AFB aiar show, about 1966 or 1967. We had a wonderful time, but that afternoon, a huge storm came from the northwest, blue, black, and mostly green. We ran to our cars just in time to be hit with more rain and hail than I have ever seen, Paul, my sons Cordon and Brook, and Sean (?) were with us and everybody was scared. Some of them were crying, but Dave reassured them and we made it home. Along the way, I took a picture I still treasure of the water coming out of the mail slot in a door (you could see the water up to three feet high inside the plate glass windows) and hail had taken down the roof on Don Carter lanes! What a wild ride! I was also very appreciative that David tiik Cordon on a trip on a friends yacht into Galveston Bay and they had pictures of them passing the Elisha square masted bark undersail. Cordon loved it. We’ll miss you Dave.
