Obituary of
Cross, Kari Von
On April 21, 2017, Kari Von Cross, went home to be with his Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. Kari was born June 22, 1970 in Pampa, TX. He was a youth sports coach, a scout leader and a deacon in his church. Kari was passionate about helping others. He volunteered countless hours to mission trips with his church to go into communities that had been ravaged by natural disasters, to help rebuild and spread the word of Jesus. He loved kids and was always involved as a coach and mentor. He always put others first.
The one word that described Kari best was “committed”. No matter what he did, he was totally committed. Kari was a building engineer for Granite Properties for 17 years. He had numerous opportunities to go elsewhere, but like everything Kari did, he was committed to Granite and the people he worked with and chose to stay with them.
His biggest passion was his family. He is survived by his wife, Christine Cross, 3 daughters; Alison Christine Inge Cross, Morgan Kerrie Shively and husband Stefen, and Mary Ellen Cross, 3 sons; Tanner Jacob Cross, Zachary Tyler Medlock and William Michael Cross. He is also survived by his parents Winona Jan Arbuckle, Alford Wynn Cross and Linda Karol Cross, his brothers; Joshua Arbuckle, Joshua James Christianson and wife Danielle.

My deepest sympathy to Christine, Kari’s children, and all his family. Kari was one of the finest people I have known and a good friend. The world would be a better place if there were more people like him in it. He will be missed by all who knew him. You are in my prayers.
