Moreno, Katherine A. (Pintor)
September 7, 1918 - July 25, 2017
Katherine A. (Pintor) Moreno of Rockwall, Texas passed away on Tuesday, July 25, 2017 at the age of 98.
Beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, Katherine departed peacefully from this life to begin her journey with God to be welcomed in heaven by all who have loved her that were waiting to surround her by joy, love and beautiful light.
She was a very strong and independent woman who never gave up. She was so very talented in all that she tried and was truly amazing. Whether building a house with her beloved husband, Conrad, cooking fantastic food from scratch, gardening, designing and sewing clothes or whatever she imagined, she excelled. She was truly dynamic and original!!
She took care of her husband in her 80’s when he had a stroke and was bed ridden. She nurtured him for almost 10 years until his passing. She was very caring of animals and her children.
She was predeceased by her first husband, Alfred Pintor, their son, Alfred Pintor, Jr.; her second husband of over 50 years, Conrad Moreno, her stepson, Conrad Joseph Moreno and her granddaughter, Kristi Pintor; all of her siblings (four sisters and two brothers); and her mother and father have also made the transition.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Richard and Marianna Herrington, 5 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren and one great great-granddaughter.
We will miss her very much!!! Heaven welcomes you!!!
A graveside service will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday, July 27, 2017 at Hillcrest Memorial Park, 7405 W. Northwest Highway, Dallas, Texas 75225.

MY LIFE’S BEEN FULL, I SAVORED MUCH.
GOOD TIMES, GOOD FRIENDS, A LOVED ONE’S TOUCH.
LIFT UP YOUR HEARTS AND PEACE TO THEE.
GOD WANTED ME NOW AND HE SET ME FREE!
Don’t grieve for me, for now I’m free.
I’m following the path God laid, you see.
I took His hand when I heard His call,
I turned my back and left it all.
I could not stay another day,
To laugh, to love, to work, to play,
Tasks left undone must stay that way,
I found my peace at close of day.
And if my parting has left a void,
Then fill it with remembered joys,
A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss,
Oh yes, these things I too will miss.
But don’t be burdened with times of sorrow,
I wish for you the sunshine of tomorrow.
