I knew James Bateman as "Jimmy" from the time I was a kid in the 70's until now. Jimmy was my cousin Tony's best friend and was always at my Aunt Jane's house as one of her boys. That is where I met Jimmy. Jimmy, like me, never wanted to grow up and was so full of life with his cool toys and edgy gadgets. Recently Jimmy attended my wedding to my Beautiful Love showing his support with his presence and capturing some great moments with his camera. Jimmy had a nack for photography along with many other hobbies. I will miss Jimmy and his excitement for the fun in life. His legacy will live on through his soon to be born son. I wish his wife Susie and their son much peace & love. Love, Shawn

Growing up with Jimmy was most entertaining, never bored when he was around, especially after he discovered RC vehicles. A very generous and loving man that will truly be missed. May God bless Susan and their soon to be son for years to come.
Love Sincerely, Tony Wilson

Knowing Jim for 40+ yrs makes for a lot of fun! May God bless Susan and their soon born son, she was a rock that kept him focused for so many years. My Brother from another mother will truly be missed! Love you Brother,

Susan, I cannot tell you how sorry I am for your loss. Jim was my next door neighbor before you came into his life and whenever I needed anything, he was always there to help. Later after the two of you married I had two of you there whenever I needed anything. So may God bless you and keep you and comfort your heart. Love, Melba
