Obituary of Roberts Sr., Jerry

Jerry Roberts Sr. passed away at his home in Ferris, Texas at the age of 85.  He was born in Louisville, Kentucky to Stoy Nugent and Latosca Roberts. Jerry served in the United States Air Force and retired after 23 years of service.  He met and married the love of his life, Thelma Myra Puffett, while stationed in England in 1955.  Jerry was also co-founder of Eagle Door Company with his son, Jerry Roberts Jr. Jerry and Thelma had three children, Rita Loyd and husband, Gary of Ferris, Texas, Kathie Stone and husband, Bobby of Wichita Falls, Texas, Jerry Roberts Jr. and wife, Lori of Wichita Falls, Texas; eight grandchildren, Christina Lytle and husband, Chad of Midlothian, Texas, Cody Loyd and wife Liz, of Abilene, Texas, Brandon Loyd and wife, Natalie of Ferris, Texas, Matthew Loyd and wife, Cora of Ferris, Texas, Joshua Stone and wife, Lindsay of Wichita Falls, Texas, Brannon Stone of Wichita Falls, Texas, Shonee Pass of Sun Tan Valley, Arizona, Kaitlin Cisneroz and husband, LC of Cleburne, Texas, Krystyle Burns and husband, Shawn of Wichita Falls, Texas; seventeen great grandchildren. Preceded in death his wife, Thelma Myra Roberts. Service will be Saturday, August 26, 2017 at 2:00 pm at Bible Baptist Church, 908 Austin Street, Wichita Falls, with Pastor Mike Rucker officiating.
