I am so saddened to hear of the passing of your dad. I had the pleasure of knowing him as Uncle Bill and your mom (my Godmother) as Auntie Joyce. I have such fond memories of both of them from throughout my childhood. In more recent years, I always enjoyed getting updates from my mom, Sally Krukowski, on your dad and how he was doing. Your parents were both such remarkable people and will be truly missed.
Love, hugs and prayers to your family during this difficult time.
Sincerely, Tricia and family and Sally Krukowski of Burlington

Rest in Peace dear Bill. After All these years I finally discovered you were 5 years my senior. What superb memories of your undivided care and attention 1960 -1980. Thanks from my three children, Wife, Doreen and my self. Your balanced unbridled optimism, humor and medical expertise always made our day. Never can I forgett the day when you were a few minutes late, and had to appologise, ” Oh dear a doctor’s day is always open to new phalanges… ” I’ve just been down to the Brant Inn and had to give Jayne Mansfield a Flu’ Shot in her bum “! ……..Thanks Dr. Preston, sincerely, Neil Shaw.

I just wanted to thank all of you for your beautiful messages. This means a lot to our family knowing that he was loved by so many people.

It was so nice to hear from Suzie, Jean (Thomas) Dougherty , Pat Swarbrick. WOW it has been so long that we have had a chance to talk. And to all my dad’s patients that took time to reflect on their experiences with him. He did truly love being a doctor and missed all of his patients when he left for Texas..

You are all in our thoughts and prayers. I left contact information on the lifecanada.ca obituary if you’d like to ever get in touch.
