Dear Zach
I am so sorry to learn of your mom's passing. At one time she had asked me to assist you upon her death. If there is anything I can do, please let me know.
We had a lot of fun together and I know she loved you more than anything in this world.

I was Karens aunty,I used to take her for walks in her pram, and helped Ann to take care of her. We lost touch a long time ago. I am so sad to hear of her death, my thoughts are with you.

Dear Zachary, I have only today found out about your mum’s death. I am Christine (one of the late Bill Douglas’s daughters). My sister Sharon has been trying to find your mum for some time. We all had contact with her on Facebook but she disappeared, she was obviously very ill. Please accept my heartfelt condolences. You have family here in England if ever you come to this part of the world. Christine x

Zack, I am so sorry to hear about your Mom. I lost track of her after her move and have been reaching out by email and Facebook. I just found this today. Please know she always spoke about you so dearly. She did a lot of great things for people that very few knew about. I was blessed to know her.

Oh my gosh Zachary! I just, learned that your mom passed away. I am so sad. We were the best of friends at southern Oregon university and in DallAs. I spent many days with you, when you were young. Until I moved. Your mom was the best of the best of being a lawyer that she could be and even though we had cases against each other which we never discussed we were friends! I am sorry for your loss and if you get to Oregon please come and stay. My prayers are with you and may grandma Ann and Karen be together for ever and ever in heaven watching over you and all is well.

I knew Karen in high school and in the last couple of years we were reintroduced via Facebook. She was a year ahead of me and back then I remember her heart was good, very social and a very good student. Ashland, Oregon was very proud to have Karen as part of the student body. She went on to study at Norte Dame and also served in the Navy. Fast forward to 2015 she and I had many humorous interchanges about family, politics, being veterans, old Ashlanders and she was quite savvy about her sports. She talked of her son Zach very often, she was so proud to be his mum. I am sorry to hear of her passing and I trust she is happy with the full life she led here on earth. My condolences to Zach, family and friends.

I am so sorry for your loss. I worked with Karen at McCauley, MacDonald, Devin and Huddleston. I was a legal secretary at the time and had the opportunity to do some work for her. I also got to know her on a personal level when we went out for drinks a time or two. She was tough.. had spunk.. was a very good lawyer. She also had a caring, good heart and was a great mother. I remember her bringing her son to work with her on many occasions. She was always helping her son with his school work while she would work.

I am so sorry to hear of Karen's untimely death. She and I crossed paths both professionally (I am attorney-mediator and mediated one of her family cases) and personally. She and I lived near one another and we both enjoyed walking at White Rock Lake, and occasionally we walked along the lake together. We were both baseball fans and we attended a Rangers game together in 2016. I enjoyed visiting with Karen, and she often spoke of how proud she was of her son, Zachary. She told me of his many accomplishments and it was wonderful to hear of her deep love for him. Karen was a valued member of the Dallas legal community and of our east Dallas neighborhood, and she will be missed. My deepest condolences to her son and to her family and friends.
