  1. Debbie Dryden says:

We loved Bobby so very much. He was such a kind soul and wonderful brother-in-law who always welcomed us into his home. I would have loved to watch him play basketball at SMU, as I’ve heard he was one of the finest. He will be greatly missed, and my prayers are with our entire family….especially his wife, children, and siblings. We take comfort in Psalm 34:18 that tells us that God is close to the broken-hearted.

The bad news was tragic. Bobby was a great friend and business colleague. Our relationship spanned four decades, and we will miss him. I wish the best for the family and know he will be remembered as a person of determination, character and humor.

While I no longer live in Dallas and have not seen Bobby for many years, he and I were dear friends at SMU and always remained so. I loved his ready smile and fun spirit. Iā€™m truly sorry for your sad loss.
