I came to know Bob Battles pretty well over the last three years or so, when Bob came to live here at 709 Goldwood Drive. We talked about a lot of things in that time, especially about his family’s history, and about the city of Dallas, and his his life in Pittsburg, Texas. ‘Bob’ Robert Battels, was a very good person, and loved his family, and all the people whose lives he touche. I will miss him very much. Good Bob and God bless you very much….I’ll see you again some dday….
