I don’t think I have a memory of Lionel that doesn’t include that wonderful, gentle smile. I didn’t spend that much time with him, but all that I did I looked forward to and remember fondly. I’m glad to have known Lionel Gilly.

Uncle Lionel was the best! He was a quiet, gentle man. When my daughter was around9 or so, she met Uncle Lionel and from then on he was the little old man with the white hair. She thought he was cool. He will be greatly missed not only by his family but by all who knew him!

I was proud to know such a great man. He finally got to go home and we will all see him again one day. May God grant you all comfort and peace in this passing.
