Obituary of
Jackson, Bobby Ray
Bobby Ray Jackson passed away peacefully at his home in Little Elm, Texas in the early morning of Wednesday, March 14, 2018. Born on April 13, 1933, in the small town of Pioneer, Louisiana. He moved to Montgomery, Louisiana in 1949, where he met his wife of 65 wonderful years, Julianne Robertson. Bobby served in the US Air Force during the Korean War and then went on to complete a business degree at Northwestern State University in Natchitoches, Louisiana. Later, he moved to Dallas, Texas where he ran a successful home improvement business until his retirement in 1999. Following retirement, he found great joy in building fine furniture. He was a faithful member of Valley View Christian Church where he served as an elder for 35 years. Bobby will be forever loved by his wife, Julianne Jackson; daughter, Theresa Jackson; son, Bobby Ross Jackson; and lovingly remembered by his grandchildren, Russell Wood, Michelle Wood, and Shawn Jackson; and also great grandchildren, Ty Jackson, Michael Wood and Natalie Wood. A celebration of Bobby’s life will be held on Saturday, March 24th at 1:00pm at Valley View Christian Church, 17601 Marsh Lane, Dallas, Texas 75287.
