Bleakley, Stacey Marie Meyer

STACEY MARIE MEYER BLEAKLEY  passed away peacefully in her sleep on Thursday, March 22, 2018 at the age of 60.

She will be remembered as a loving parent and grandmother who selflessly raised three beautiful daughters with love and care as a single mom for several years.  She enjoyed gardening, music, cooking, the beach, dancing, stargazer lilies, and the company of her extensive family.

Stacey is preceded in death by her mother, Janet Hamilton.

She is survived by her father, Keith Hamilton; her siblings, Debi Hamilton, Christine Hawkins (and husband, Jim), Liz Hamilton, and Keith Hamilton (and wife, Cindy); her husband, Bruce; her daughters, Brittany Meyer (and spouse, Dean), Stephanie Meyer Fischler (and husband, Taylen), and Natalie Meyer; and her grandson Nolan Ryan Fischler.

A private remembrance for family and friends will be held in May in Stacey’s beloved San Diego, where she lived for thirty years.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the American Cancer Society to commemorate Stacey’s triumph over breast cancer as a young adult.

Please leave the family condolences and share memories on this website.

Oh Stacey, so many happy memories of my wonderful neighbor. Support during early motherhood, shared laughter of our babies, child free houseboat vacations. Dancing on the houseboat, dancing in the backyard, dancing in the living room, dancing in the garage. I will always remember you fondly.

Bruce, Brittany, Stephanie, Natalie and family we are sorry for your loss. We were very happy that your mom had finally found happiness in her life and sad that it was cut short. None of us could ask for and better exit from this world except that she would have wanted to give all of you one last hug and kiss and tell you how much she loved you.

My sister I will miss you greatly, last year we spent a lot of time together for which I am truly grateful. Who will put chapstick on my lips while I am driving now?? You loved assisting the driver, so funny. Most of all I cherish the many great memories, and am grateful that you passed so peacefully at home.
