Pastor McBride was a man of great Love and passion. He was our pastor back in Coppell many years ago. As a little kid, I remember how he and sister McBride were always at the door when service was over. They were always welcoming, caring, and warm. They spread the gospel through action, words, and song. His words of comfort at my father’s funeral will always be remembered. Our condolences to the family. May God continue to bless the family. Heaven is rejoicing!

Gretnia and I will never forget the impact Bro and Sis McBride made on our lives from the first time we met them. He was a prince and she was a princess. He opened the door to our ministry and allowed us to come numerous times. We will never forget the outpouring of the Holy Ghost in those services. They took us to the best places to eat and always treated us like royalty. We loved them dearly and will never forget their kindness to us.

He was a great man and will be dearly missed by so many! The history he had with my multiple families in Coppell go back to way before I was born with my great grandmother, my Grandparents, Aunts, Uncles and cousins all members! FA of God church was my first church and church home to all of my family! Bro. Mac married my parents in the old church and so many others and officiated many funerals for our family as well! I have many found memories of him growing up and all the wonderful families bonded together from Coppell. He will forever be in our hearts and memories! Sincerely, Raymond Hawkins, Tim Hawkins, Linda Hawkins Harwell, Emily Hawkins

Even though our family belonged to First Baptist Church in Coppell, we all knew and loved Pastor McBride. I had gone to school with Carol Ann McBride at Carrollton High School. My Dad loved Pastor McBride so much that he requested that when he died, he wanted him to have a part in his funeral. He honored Dad’s request and we were all blessed by his words. For many years we have had a Christmas party for our graduating class. Carol and Carrol both attended. Before we would have anything to eat. we always asked Pastor McBride to bless our food. He not only blessed our food, he blessed our lives and our souls. We have missed “The Carols” the past few years. It was a joy to know both of them. May God comfort your hearts at this sad time by the sweet knowledge that he is with the Savior he served so faithfully.

Maryanne I am deeply sorrowed to hear of your father’s passing. At the same time I am rejoicing because he is with his lord and savior.. Your father played a pivotal role in my life.
