Moll, William Frederick
William (Bill) Frederick Moll Jr., of Farmers Branch, Texas, passed away at the age of 88 on Thursday, July 12, 2018, in his home from natural causes. He was born in Toledo, Ohio on February 5th, 1930. He went to Ottawa Hills High School, class of 1948. He attended Colgate University and pursued a degree in Political Science. However, in 1951 during the Korean War he left school to join the Navy. Upon being honorably discharged from the Navy, he joined Johns Manville Corporation. He worked for the company as a salesmen of commercial building supplies his entire career.
Bill enjoyed hunting quail and pheasant. Also, he was an avid golfer and a member of Brookhaven Country Club for 45 years. He also enjoyed keeping up with current events, most especially politics. In 1956 he married Edith Upson, also of Toledo. He was a devoted husband to her for 48 years until she passed in October 2004.
He is survived by his daughters, Libby English (husband, Dan English) and Margi Coll (husband, Mark Coll).
A memorial service will be held at The Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd in Dallas, Texas at 11:00 am on Saturday, July 28, 2018.
