Obituary of Romatz, Gary

Gary Romatz was 66 years young at his passing on Tuesday, July 31, 2018 in Coppell, Texas after fighting a battle with cancer.  Gary left behind his only daughter, 26 year old, Lacey Alexandria Romatz.

He was born in Detroit, Michigan and loved being a father and friend to everyone who knew him. He was a great uncle and was always someone you could depend on.  Gary was a member of the National Guard and worked for several years for USA Professional Service Group as a civil engineer.  He worked very hard and loved his friends and family at work.  Gary will miss his nieces, nephews, friends and family in Michigan. He loved to go bowling with Lacey and playing ball with his dog, Beast.

Gary will always be remembered as a loving father, the hardest worker in the world, and a friend to many. He will be missed and will never be forgotten.

Please leave the family condolences and share memories on this website.

I worked with Gary about twenty years ago. He was one of the nicest guys in the world. He had a heart of gold and would do anything for you. I remember him talking to his daughter Lacey on the phone as often as he could. He would talk about her so glowingly and was so proud of her. He definitely was one of the hardest working people I’ve ever been around. He loved music as I did, and we’d often talk about playing music or different groups that we liked. You will be greatly missed Gary. You were a good man and a good friend. We will never forget you.

Gary was a good man and one of the hardest workers I have ever known. We were married 11 years and had our beautiful daughter Lacey Romatz who is 26 years old. Gary loved his baby girl more than anything in this world. She and her friends called him Pops and he was her best friend. Gary will be missed by his work family at USA Professional Services Group. His dog Beast is in great hands on a 40 acre ranch and he is resting peacefully in heavenI
