Obituary of
Bennett, Edward Martin
Edward Martin Bennett, age 93, of Addison, Texas, died peacefully in his home on Sunday, August 5, 2018. He was born September 18, 1924. Edward grew up in New York City, attended The Citadel and served in the US Army during World War II. He graduated from MIT with a BS in Electrical Engineering, and went on to earn his Master’s and Ph.D degrees from Purdue University in Industrial Psychology. Edward was a successful entrepreneur and businessman in Dallas, Texas. He was recognized as one of the founding fathers of the computer era in Boston, Massachusetts. He will be missed by his beloved wife, Cynthia Rollow; step-daughter Karen Rollow Church and husband Andrew; his two sons, James Bennett and wife Elena; Robert Bennett and wife Lori; their mother Dorothy Bennett Dulian and grandson Maxwell Bennett. Memorial services will be held at 3:30pm on Wednesday, August 8 at Preston Hollow Presbyterian Church, 9800 Preston Road, Dallas, Texas. Donations can be made to the charity of your choice.
