Shirley was an amazing Mother to my best friend and a great friend to me. I enjoyed every minute we spent together and every phone call. She wanted to help bring out the best in everyone she met and brought out the best in me for sure. She will be missed!

Shirley was a kind and generous woman whom I considered a second mom. She always had a funny story or an important life lesson to share. She was a huge part of making me the strong woman that I am today, and I will miss her dearly.

Ken and I had so many great years living next door to Shirley! She was always kind and had a beautiful smile for all. We shared many laughs together. We shared the same love for animals. Our boys, Ed and Chris grew up with Jim. Steve was older so we didn’t see much of him. I haven’t seen Shirley in a while to my regret but we did talk occasionally. I will miss hearing her voice and her laugh. Rest well Shirley. Know that we loved you! Ken and Donna

I always loved Aunt Shirley growing up. She was a “fun” aunt who took me shopping to places I’d never heard of: Newman Marcus and Bloomingdale’s. As I child I’d never seen dogs wearing ponytails, as she introduced me to that, too. I’m grateful for my memories of spunky, sassy, and always young-at-heart, Aunt Shirley.
