Elkins, Robert Logan

Robert “Logan” Elkins 28, of Rowlett passed away on September 8 after courageously fighting a three-year battle against Hodgkin’s Lymphoma.  Logan was born in Carrollton, TX to Gary Elkins and Christi Kalldin on September 30, 1989.  He graduated from Rowlett High School and later UNT.

Logan was a server at local restaurants while completing his bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice and then worked for TSA at DFW airport.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Eugene and Evelyn Elkins and his great grandparents, Robert and Marie Halbert.

Logan is survived by his mother, Christi (Drew) Kalldin; father, Gary (Barbara) Elkins; brother, Nathan; sister, Alexandra; maternal grandmother, Judy (Ron) LaPointe and his favorite puppies Hank, Charlie, Tag, Buck and Molly.

A Life Celebration will be on Sunday, October 14, 2018 at 2:00 pm at The Dodson House in the Farmers Branch Historical Park.

In lieu of flowers please consider memorials in Logan’s name to SPCA or any favorite animal charities of your choice.

Gary and Family, our hearts are broken to hear of Logan 3 year battle and passing. Matthew 5:4 tells us”Blessed are those that mourn, for they shall be comforted”. May Fod provide both blessings and comfort and praise God, Logan is whole a s pain free now.
