We have many memories of John and are saddened of his passing. John was a good man and great to work for. Our greatest memory was playing softball as a club on Friday nights. Julie and John were great friends

Our deep condolences extended to Julie, her family, and the children. We also offer our prayers to John’s sister and brother, Leigh and Weldon Waldrep and Tommy McLaughlin of Silsbee.

Our nephew, John, grew up with a strong native Texan work ethic helping him succeed as a successful businessman and manager. He loved and cherished his family, and also enjoyed the outdoors (especially fishing). His parents, Elmer and Carolyn McLaughlin, were proud of John and his accomplishments. The legacy of John’s life remains with his surviving family and friends forever.
