Sorry you are gone my friend. I will miss our get togethers. Didnt get to see each other to much these last years. My fault. I know you had hoped to bring your family together again. Hope that happened. Unfortunately family can be out worst enemies.

I’ll never forget all the times papa would take us to Galveston, he’s always play on the road again to get us going, playing checkers, watching the duke boys and so many more things. I love you papa, forever your tincan

Al was the hardest working man I’ve ever known, the epitome of a Texan’s Texan. He could spin a yarn that would have you splitting your sides, and he was generous to a fault. He will truly be missed.

Alvin was a great man with a large heart and filled with love and compassion. Meet him and Oveta and family at Farmers Branch Church of Christ. In 1974 my daughter Ronda was in a coma for six weeks and he never missed a day of coming to see her and the entire family stood by me. I will ever be eternally indebted to this family for their support during those difficult times.
