Lydia Christine Kizziar, age 13, passed away on Saturday, January 4, at Children’s Medical Center in Plano, TX, from influenza, and went into the arms of Jesus. She was born September 8, 2000 in Plano, TX, and grew up in Carrollton. She was a member of Metrocrest Presbyterian Church, and was a 7th grade student at Founders Classical Academy in Lewisville. Lydia is survived by her parents, Max and Diane Kizziar of Carrollton, older siblings Emily, Ryan, and Abigail, and a younger sister Katie Ellen. She is also survived by loving grandparents Albert and Laurel Bronick of Carrollton, Dr. Jim Kizziar and Betty Kizziar of Little Rock, AR, Jane Kitchen Kizziar Rahmani and Ali Rahmani of Carrollton, TX, aunts Carol Bronick of Herndon, VA, Holly Kizziar of Carrollton, TX, Kathy Bronick Aasmundstad and uncle Grant Aasmundstad of Olathe, KS. Lydia was a believer and follower of Jesus Christ, and we take great joy and comfort in the knowledge that she is now enjoying perfect fellowship with Him for eternity. She was an active and enthusiastic member of her church youth group and participated in her first inner city mission trip with them last summer. She was also a past member of a local chapter of Faith Keepers. Lydia was both a precious daughter and a Christian warrior-in-training, and her passing leaves a void in the hearts of all who knew her. She loved the Lord, loved her family, loved her friends, and was beginning to display a love for young children that warmed the hearts of her parents. Visitation will be at the North Dallas Funeral Home, 2710 Valley View Lane in Farmers Branch, TX, Thursday, January 9, 2014, 5-8pm. The memorial service will be on Friday, January 10, at Freedom Life Church, 2435 E Hebron Pkwy in Carrollton, TX, at 10am. In lieu of flowers, gifts and memorials may either be given to the Metrocrest Presbyterian Church Memorial Fund (1265 E. Hebron Parkway, Carrollton, TX 75010), or to Brookhill Ranch Camp (431 Brooks Loop, Hot Springs, AR 71909), a Christian summer camp that was a very special place to Lydia.

I was missing Lydia so i looked up here obituary and just saw this now. Even though it has been a few months now, I know that you guys are still shocked and terribly sad. I am so so sorry.
