Maybe the finest person I’ve ever known. He came out of nowhere one day at Garrett Park to influence many lives . We would play football or Baseball, which ever was in season. We called him Ben for many years until we learned his real name . Everyone respected & thought highly of him . He was one of us & we will never forget him !

    Betty and family,
We just heard from Jason Blue the sad news that Ray had passed. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. Ray was a good man and a delight to work with all those years at Benedict Optical/Hoya. And what a wonderful portrait of Ray…Jason tells me you painted it, Betty. How blessed with talent you are!
