McInnish, Kenneth
Kenneth E. McInnish, 89, of Lakewood, Colorado passed away August 18, 2017. He was born in Gatesville, Texas to Herman and Cora Lee McInnish on December 4th, 1928.Ā The family moved to Carrollton, TX soon after. Kenneth grew up in Carrollton where he graduated from Carrollton High School. Kenneth attended North Texas University when just before graduation, he joined the US Army.Ā On return from the service, he married Marilyn Griswold. Kenneth was a member of The Carrollton Masonic Lodge, No. 1400 for 59 years.Ā He alsoĀ owned and operated McInnish Glass and Mirror in Carrollton while living in Pilot Point, TX. He and Marilyn moved to Santa Fe, New Mexico where he operated another glass business.Ā After retiring, they moved many times enjoying life in Las Vegas, NV, Boise, ID and Santa Fe, NM before moving back to Carrollton.Ā When Marilyn passed away Kenneth moved to Colorado to be close toĀ their daughter Kathleen.Ā Kenneth is survived by four daughters; Kathleen McInnish of Lakewood, CO, Bonnie McInnish of Boise, ID, Diane Wendling of Grapevine, TX, Phyllis and John Turner of North Carolina, several grandchildren, nieces and nephews and two sisters; Sylvia McInnish Gravley of Carrollton, TX, Charlene and Kenny Kearns of Lewisville, TX. Service & Burial will be held on Friday, September 22ndĀ Ā 11am at Dallas Ft Worth National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Pkwy, Dallas, TX 75211.Ā Please form in lane 3 at the cemetery around 10:45am.
