Adkins, Gene P.'s Obituary
Gene Porter Adkins, 82, of Dallas, Texas, died February 3, 2012. He was born December 14, 1929, in Big Springs, Texas, to John Ercy Adkins and Alma Nevada Cockrell. He is survived by his wife, Bette J Burton-Adkins; nephews, Joe Lynn Adkins of Anton, Tx, Delbert Adkins of Wylie, TX and Mike Burnside of Wichita Falls, TX and nieces, Dianna Foreman of Amarillo, TX and Rita Gaye Walker of Grand Saline, TX. Visitation will be on Tuesday, February 7, 2012 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the Brooks Family Chapel at North Dallas Funeral Home. Burial with Honors will be held at the Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery on Wednesday, February 8, 2012 at 10:30 AM. Please send family condolences and sign the guest book on this website.
