Dawn Allene Allison, age 84, formally of Hamburg, Arkansas went peacefully to sleep with her passed away and Savior on the evening of December 28, 2016 at her residence in Dallas, Texas.Born August 22,1932 in Buhl, Idaho she is predeceased by her late husband of 26 years Henry Allison of Hamburg, Arkansas; her parents, Ernest and Eva Goettling; sister Geraldine Goettling of Hayward, California.Dawn Allene Allison is survived by her daughter and husband Coette and Steve Rogers of Dallas, Texas, son and wife Kenneth and Teresa Francis of Ogden, Utah, son and wife Joseph and Ana Francis of Grandview, Missouri, daughter Sandra Johnson of Monroe, Louisiana, sister and husband Vivian and Paul Wakefield of Chico, California. Dawn Allene Allison also had 9 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandkids and was affectionally known as "Grams".Her life long generosity, wisdom and loving big heart was admired by everyone who knew her. She was the best Mother and friend to her daughter "Coco" Rogers whom she lived with for the last 18 years, and to her daughter "Sandy" with whom she visited as often as possible. She loved to travel, read and cook. Her best known dinner "Supper On A Bread Slice" and her famous zucchini "Fruitcake" was none better and always made with Love. She is deeply and dearly missed.A memorial service will be on Saturday, January 7, 2017 at the Brooks Family Chapel at North Dallas Funeral Home, 2710 Valley View Lane, Farmers Branch, Texas 75234.
