Sunday 01/05/25, Alton Louis Allen Sr went home to be with Jesus and his beautiful wife Gale.

This loss saddens us, but we are grateful for the long, happy life he lived and the memories he made. He was loved and will be missed.

Alton Loved his family beyond measure.

He was preceded in death by his wife Gale of 64 (one month shy of 65) years of marriage.

Alton was also preceded in death by his parents, Cleo and Retha Allen, and sisters, Jaquitta Allen Brown, Gladys Martin, and Donnice Bannister.

He leaves behind his son Alton Louis Allen Jr. and wife Kadee Allen, daughter Lisa Allen Armstrong, grandson Bradley Armstrong and wife Sarah Armstrong, grandson Alan Armstrong and partner Katie Peralez, granddaughter Mackenzie Roediger, grandson Alton Louis Allen III, great-granddaughter Ava Armstrong, and great-grandson Ebin Armstrong (children of Brad and Sarah Armstrong). Alton is also survived by his sister, Mary Woodall, his brother, Ronnie Allen, and many nephews, nieces, and great-nieces and nephews. His family and many friends have surrounded him, and he was always so proud of them.

Services for Alton will be held at the North Dallas Funeral Home on 01/17/2025 at 11 a.m., with a graveside service to follow at 12:30 at the Old Hall cemetery.

We would ask that a donation be made to the Shriners Children's instead of flowers. Alton was proud of the work he and his Masonic brothers were able to do for the children. He was Mason since 1963
