Alma Nubia Alvir, of Carrollton, Texas, age 69 yrs. old, went to be with the passed away on Monday, October 12th, 2020.She was born on January 10th, 1951 in Nicaragua until she moved to Texas in 1986 where she lived in Carrollton until her departure. She worked at Loris Gift Shop for 21yrs until January 2020.Survivors include daughter Mary Alvir, granddaughter Jessica Sosa and partner Dimari Porterfield, sister Cathy Fletes and husband Julio, brother Americo Alvir and wife Ivonne, sisters Gloria Alvir, Maria Luisa Alvir. Nieces and Nephews Silvia, Julio, Oscar, Paola and Javiera. Nubia was preceded in death by her parents Eduardo Alvir and Josefa Lopez Alvir, and by brother Eduardo Alvir.Visitation will be held on Friday, October 16, 2020 from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm, the rosary will be recited at 5:00 pm all in the Brooks Family Chapel of the North Dallas Funeral Home, 2710 Valley View Lane, Farmers Branch, Texas 75234.Please leave the family condolences and share memories on this website.
