Mary Helen Mallory Anderson

DALLAS, TX Mary Anderson, 85, passed away peacefully on February 10, 2014 in Dallas. Marys cinerary urn will be placed in Highland Park Presbyterian Church Columbarium.

MEMORIAL SERVICE: Tuesday, February 18th @ 2:00 pm at the Wynne Chapel, Highland Park Presbyterian Church, 3821 University Blvd, Dallas, TX.

A career professional, Mary was very active in her church and community. She was a member, past committee chair, and previous Ambassador of the Year Award winner for the North Dallas Chamber of Commerce. She was past president of Toastmasters Executive Club of Dallas, as well as Prestonwood 1-A Homeowners Association, Poe Study Club, and North Texas Nebraskans Alumni Association.

Involved and totally committed to the Highland Park Presbyterian Church ministries, Mary was past president for the New Tom Bible Class, member of the Christian Education Committee and other HPCC activities.

A banking and insurance professional, Mary developed a very successful Shaklee senior distributorship business and cultivated hundreds of clients and distributors over her 32 year Shaklee relationship.

Born in Lincoln, Nebraska on July 27, 1928, Mary graduated from the University of Nebraska, where she earned her B.A., was a member of Kappa Alpha Theta, Mortar Board, and was selected as the 1948 Homecoming Queen.

Marys family would like to especially thank Didi Franks for her compassionate loving friendship.

MEMORIALS: In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Highland Park Presbyterian Church.

She was preceded in death by her father Robert Mallory and mother Lois Mallory.

SURVIVORS: Her children Lee McGuire and husband Chuck, Ted Anderson and wife Jai, Traci Alexander, 5 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, sister Sally Dale and husband Doug.
