Obituary

Obituary of Anna Marie Gott Anna Marie Gott (Ann) received her promotion to heaven on September 18, 2023 at the age of 91. She was born on June 4, 1932 in Mt. Pleasant, Iowa to Dewey and Della Hookom. She married the love of her life Richard Gott on July 1, 1951. They moved to Texas in 1956 and she was a resident of Christus St. Josephs in Coppell, TX. Ann was welcomed to heaven by her son Richard Eugene Gott and Granddaughter Rebekah Lynn Rambo along with her parents, brother and two sisters. What a happy reunion that must have been. Ann was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother. She is survived by her husband Richard Gott, daughters Barbara Rambo and Carol Meyer (Dennis Meyer), her three grandchildren Joseph Meyer (Erin), Daniel Rambo (Kendall Larson) and Rachel Meyer. She had 5 great grandchildren Kaitlyn Albert, Easton Albert, Cayden Meyer, Jake Meyer and Aubree Riggs, and 2 great great grandchildren Nova and Myles Albert. She was always supportive of her children and grandchildren by being a Scout leader, going to sporting events and always being there whatever the need may be lending a listening ear and giving hugs. She was a lifelong member of the Farmers Branch Moose Lodge and volunteered her time to mentor children at Central Elementary. Saying she was an avid Rangers fan would be an understatement. She never missed a game, and I am sure she is looking down from heaven and rooting them on to the playoffs. In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations to the ASPCA or the Farmers Branch Moose Lodge in her memory. A Celebration of Life is being planned at a future date to be determined.
