Barbara Anne Brown Arnswald, Babs, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 18, 2017. She was born on March 3, 1942 in Dallas, Texas.She is preceded in death by her husband, Richard; father, Verner; mother, Janie; brothers, Ronnie and Chris; nephew, Tristan Loman; grandparents; aunts; uncles; and several cousins.Babs is survived by her son, Ray and his wife, Mary Arnswald, of Richardson, brothers; Vern Brown of Athens, Darren and his wife, Vona Brown of Athens; sisters, Becky and her husband, Stewart Sebastian of Rowlett, Carol Loman of Huntsville; and sister in law, JoAnn and husband, Ed Flynn of Illinois; grandchildren, Jade Arnswald of Richardson, Erica and her husband, Hobet Alonzo of Garland, and Priscilla Andrade of Mexico; great grandchildren, Fabian, Adrian and Sadie Alonzo of Garland, and Isiah Rocha of Plano; nieces, Lauren Sebastian of Richardson, Alecia and her husband, Shane Schattinger of Colorado, and Tara Loman of Spring; nephews, Caleb and his wife, Mandy Fox of Leander, Jacob Fox of Austin, and Coty and his wife, Jozanna Fox of Lampasas; sister in law, Diane and her husband, Rhea Fox of Austin; several great nephews and nieces; and numerous beloved cousins.She was a graduate of Richardson High School and Baylor University. She was a member of the Dallas Symphony Chorus, Dallas Civic Chorus and Irving Chorale.Babs retired from teaching but continued to be active in her church, Royal Lane Baptist Church.
