David Lee Austin, age 62, passed away on Wednesday, September 2, 2015 at The Waterford at Plano.He was born on July 9, 1953 in Lexington, Virginia and was the son of William David Austin and Mary Austin.Davidgraduated from Natural Bridge High School in 1971 and was a former employee of CEI Roofing Company. Heenjoyed playing card games, driving in his Corvette and Thunderbird, and spending time with his family. He loved cooking, making homemade jerky, and watching funny movies.Davidis predeceased by his parents, William David Austin and Mary Austin; and his first wife, Valoria Diane Bowen who passed away on October 31, 2000.He is survived by two daughters, Kayla Austin and Dawn Austin as well as his wife, Tammy Austin.Visitation will be on Saturday, September 5, 2015 from 2:00 to 3:00 pm in the Brooks Family Chapel of the North Dallas Funeral Home, 2710 Valley View Lane, Farmers Branch, Texas 75234.Funeral Services will begin immediately after the visitation at 3:00 pm at the funeral home.Procession to follow the service for the interment at Forest Lawn Cemetery, Walnut Hill Lane and Harry Hines Blvd., Dallas, Texas.Please send the family condolences and share memories on this website.
