Wanda Lynne Smith, age 75, a resident of Farmers Branch, TX, died Wednesday, August 28, 2013. She was born August 14, 1938 in Dallas, to Felix Lynn Barton and Mary Louise Barton. Wanda was a member of First Baptist ChurchCarrollton, and served faithfully in various Dallas area churches as a Sunday School teacher, ChoirMember, Youth sponsor and volunteer Missionary. Wanda also worked for many years for Kelly Services in Dallas. She was an avid reader, loved history and travel, but most of all she loved her family and friends. Wanda was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Ralph Winston Smith. She is survived by her son Mark Smith, and wife, Beth, of Nashville, TN; son Mike Smith, and wife, Becky, of Shelbyville, TN; daughter Cindy Jacobs, and husband, Michael, of Frisco, TX; grandson Bart; granddaughters Missy, Kellie, Cara, Rachel, Mallory, Sarah; great granddaughters Emma, Dakota,Savannah, Avery, Lily, Layla, Presley and Harper and soon to beborn Olivia; her mother, age 97;one sister, one sister-in-law and two brothers-in-law; seven nieces and nephews, numerous cousins, other family members, friends and coworkers.Services will be on Saturday, August 31st, 2013 at the North Dallas Funeral Home, 2710 Valley View Lane, Farmers Branch, Texas75234.
