Jean Stephanie (Rozwalka) Bates passed away in Dallas, Texas on Tuesday, December 22, 2020. She was born January 3,1936, in Harvey, Illinois to Stephan Frank and Violet Helen (Marcinak) Rozwalka.She is preceded in death by her parents, and her brothers Steven, Richard, Robert, and Donald Rozwalka.Jean is survived by her loving husband of 64 years, Peter D. Bates Sr. of Irving, Texas and stepson Peter D. Bates Jr. of South Bend, Indiana. Sister-in-law, Peggy Rozwalka. Nephews and nieces surviving, Violet (Rozwalka) Chastain of Grandview, TX; Steven Rozwalka Jr. lll; Tony Rozwalka of Chicago, IL; Richard Rozwalka; Eddie Rozwalka (deceased); Suzette Rozwalka (Witty); Trisha Rozwalka (Boyd); Robert Rozwalka Jr.; Thomas Rozwalka; Tammy Rozwalka (Harlan); Dawn Rozwalka; Mary Kay Rozwalka.Burial to be in Indiana and Memorial Service in Texas at later dates.Please leave condolences and share memories on this website.
