Carolyn Ann Lee went home to be with the passed away on Friday, December 16, while surrounded by her loving family. Carolyn was born October 20, 1960 in Dallas, Texas. She was 51 years old. Her spirit was always bold and she met ever challenge with courage and optimism. Her life was filled with joy which spilled over and filled everyone who knew her. She is survived by her husband, Joe Lee of Carrollton, Texas; daughter Gayla Batson and husband Terry Reel of Farmers Branch, Texas; Step-Son Lee Batson and wife Carrie of Forney, Texas; Step- Son Darrell Lee and wife Stephanie of Fort Campbell, Kentucky; Step Daughter Becky Durrett and husband Mark of Frisco; and four grandchildren, Addyson Reel; Colin and Carter Durrett; and Bradie Batson; and dear aunt Mary Thomas.Carolyn was preceded in death by her father, H.B. Thomas and her parents, R.B. and Jean Bryant.Carolyn had successful careers as a Legal Secretary, Distribution Manager at Chief Auto Parts, and Office Manager for Pepsi Cola. Her most fulfilling career has been as wife, mother, grandmother and home maker. She was an athlete in high school and has always had a great love for the water.
