Daughter of Mary D. Bost Myers and Charles D. Myers born on December 11, 1923 in China Grove, N.C. Beloved wife of Edwin L. Battaile and mother of Sharon Duncan, William Chester Battaile, Tristan Leigh Battaile, Emmett Kenneth Battaile and Samantha Gaye Shelby and grandmother to 12 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Mary passed peacefully at home with her family present on December 2, 2008. Preceded in death by her parents and son, Kenneth. Mary was a friend of many and loved by all that knew her. She will be missed. We love you mother. Visitation, Friday, December 5, 2008, 5-8pm, service, Saturday, December 6, 2008, 10am all at the North Dallas Funeral Home.
