Katherine Ragsdill Beavers, beloved wife, mother, and grandmother passed away peacefully on August 30, 2012 with her family by her bedside. She was 86 years old. Katherine was born on November 1, 1925 at home on the ranch in Junction, Texas. Her parents were Howard and Maggie Ragsdill.Katherine attended grade school through high school in Junction. She graduated from Junction High School in 1943. While in high school, she was active in school organizations and on the tennis team. In 1957, she graduated from North Texas in Denton with a Bachelor of Science degree in education.Katherine taught school for a total of twenty-eight years in Junction and El Paso.
