Charles Robert Beis, age 88, of Garland Texas went to be with the passed away on Thursday, March 19,2020. He was born in Whitehouse, Ohio April 26, 1931.Charles served in the United States Air Force from 1951-1955. He worked in Computer Engineering throughout his career, and retired from Rockwell Collins. Charles was an avid ham radio operator known as K5UWD with amateur radio friends all over the US. He taught many ham radio enthusiasts the art of communicating around the world. Charles will be buried at DFW National Cemetery.
