Golden Blount wasborn 9-11-28 in Searcy, Arkansas andleft his earthly body on 3-6-2014. He was a good man, had great faith in the passed away Jesus, having accepted Christ at an early age. his faith never wavered.He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Julia Bloomer; two sons, James Golden and Robert Stephen; 5 grandchildren, Alicia, Jamie, Sabrina, Robert Golden and William Stephen; sister, Lila Porter, and many nieces and nephews.During WWII Golden, at age 17, left home to serve in the U.S. Navy.Still active until shortly before his death, Golden was engaged in all aspects of the fireplace industry as a manufacturer.Memorial Services will be held at Park Cities Baptist Church, Dallas, Texas Friday.
