Francis Edel Bonneau of The Colony, Texas passed away of a heart attack on Wednesday, August 31, 2011 in Carrollton, Texas at the age of 76 years old. Edel was survived by his wife Joy Darlene Cheatham Bonneau and two sons, Ronnie and Randy. He was born in Dodson, Texas. He was preceded in death by his father, Richard Van Bonneau and mother, Mattie Erma Jameson Bonneau. Edel constantly dreamed of earlier days hunting on the old family farmstead in Dodson. The prairie dogs and jack rabbits in Collingsworth County can finally breath a sigh of relief. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, September 6, 2011 at 11:00 am at Farmers Branch Church of Christ, 3035 Valley View Lane, Farmers Branch, Texas 75234. Rev. Eddy Ketchersid officiating.
