Brian R. Westgate passed away on July 9, 2022, after a long battle with Alzheimers.Born in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, he moved to Calgary, Alberta, Canada. He graduated from the University of Alberta with a degree in chemical engineering. Upon graduation, he started a long career with Mobil; first in Canada, then in the United States beginning in New Orleans and continuing around the world. He loved baseball and music and the technology that allowed him to follow both closely, as well as playing with his grandson and taking walks in nature.He is survived by his wife, Nancy Byth Westgate, his stepdaughter Kendra Nuckels, his son-in-law Robert Pierry III, his grandson Alasdair Pierry and many relatives and friends. He was loved and is missed.
