June Odle Brooks of The Colony went to be with her Savior on Monday, May 30, 2011. She was born June 1, 1923, in Claremore, Oklahoma to Albert and Mary Dismukes Odel. She was 87 years old. June married N. EarlBrooks in 1938. They had two chil-dren. Preceded in death by her pa-rents, her husband of 58 years, her older sister, and a granddaughter. June is survived by her two children, Jimmie Brooks of Glendale,Arizona, and Betty Moore of The Colony, Texas, one granddaughter, two grandsons, and seven great-grandchildren, her younger sister, and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Thursday, June 2 from 6:30-8:30 pm at the First Baptist Church of Carrollton. Funeralservice will be Friday, June 3 at 1:00 pm also at First Baptist Church of Carrollton with burial to follow at Hilltop Memorial Park, 1810 North Perry Road, Carrollton, Texas 75006.
