1st. Sgt. Kevin J. Brown, 50, died May 3, 2012 at his home in Mineral Wells, Texas. Kevin was born in Arlington, Texas on August 25, 1961 to Gerald W. Brown and Lola E. Brown. Kevin defended his country for 32 years while serving in the U.S. Army and the Army National Guard at which time he served two tours in Iraq. He was awarded with numerous citations and commendations and was well respected by all who served with him. It is with great sadness that this Great American Hero was taken from us.He was preceded in death by his brother, Kenneth Brown, and his mother, Lola Brown. Kevin is survived by his father, Gerald W. Brown and wife Joyce; brother, Aubrey Dale Brown and wife, Susie; stepbrother, Brian Pinkerton and two stepsisters, Tracy Clegg and Ashley Henslee, and also by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.Graveside service, with military honors, will be held on Thursday, May 10, 2012 at 9:15am at the DFW National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Parkway, Dallas, Texas 75211 Lane B.Please send the family condolences and sign the guestbook on this website.
