Dan Buford of Roanoke, Texas, died September 4, 2013. He was 68 years old. He was born January 28, 1945 in Mintus Chapel south of Grapevine to Lewis Bradley Buford and Hazel Kennemer Buford. He has lived all his life, with the exception of 2 years in the Army, in the Grapevine area. He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Buddy Buford of Oklahoma City, OK and one sister, Aileen Buford Baker of Oklahoma City, OK.He is survived by his sister, Janice Flanngan Williamson and husband, Ray of McKinney, Texas; brother-in-law, Bob Baker of Oklahoma City, OK; 2 nephews and 2 nieces and their families. He is also survived by many friends in the area, especially Johnny Hendricks. A Graveside Service with military honors will be held on Friday, September 27, 2013 at 1:15pm at the Dallas/Fort Worth National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Parkway, Dallas, Texas 75211, Lane B.
