Darrel Gene Bunch, 72, went home to be with his passed away Wednesday, June 29, 2011 at his home in Carrollton, Texas. Darrel was born August 16, 1938 in Floydada, Texas to Willie and Mamie Bunch. He is preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Billy and Barry, who died as infants. He is survived by his wife of 53 years Arlene Bunch; two daughters, Tanya Whitlock and husband Perry, Brenda Harrington and husband Thomas; three grandsons, Tommy Harrington, Jonathon and Andrew Whitlock; two granddaughters, Katy and Bonnie Harrington all of Carrollton; one sister, Joy Finely of Midland and a brother, Rodney Bunch and wife Vicki of Carrollton.Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 5, 2011 from 9:30 am to 11:00 am. The funeral will begin at 11:00 am at First Baptist Church of Carrollton, 2400 North Josey Lane, Carrollton, Texas 75006. Burial will follow at Rolling Oaks Memorial Center, 400 South Freeport Parkway, Coppell, Texas 75019. Dr. Brent Taylor will be officiating.
