Craig entered the presence of hispassed away and Savior on Sunday, October10 at his home in Dallas. Hewas 74 years old. Craig was born inNew York City July 8, 1936. Heattended Syracuse University wherehe was a student in the New YorkState College of Forestry. He graduatedfrom Syracuse in June 1958.Upon graduation Craig entered theU.S. Air Force and trained as a pilot.He saw service in Vietnamwhere he flew over 200 missions as aC130 pilot. He left the Air Force in1965 as a Captain and began a careerwith Delta Airlines that wouldbe his work for the next 32 years.He retired from Delta as a Captainin 1996. While flying for Delta heused his free time taking classes inwoodworking and carpentry atNorthlake Community College inIrving. After his retirement he becamea teacher for those courses anddid so until 2010. Craig was a masterwoodworker and enjoyed buildingfurniture for his home andfriends. He enjoyed hunting andwas a member of the Dallas Woodsand Water Club. He was also anEagle Scout. Craig was an activeNumismatist for many years withan exceptional collection. He willbe best remembered by his friendsas a person always ready to helpwith any task or need. He was anexceptional friend to many and willbe deeply missed. Craig is survivedby his wife Lynn, his son Steven ofWhitewright, Texas, his daughterElizabeth Gandy (Russell) of UniversityPark, three grandsons; Carson,Ryan and Holt and one granddaughter,Gracie.
