Helen V. Campbell passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 25, 2013 at her home in Carrollton, Texas after a short battle with cancer. She was preceded in death in 1993 by her husband of 46 years, Harry G. Campbell. Helen is survived by her two sons, Harry G. Campbell, Jr. of New Smyrna Beach, Florida and George P. Campbell of Carrollton, Texas; daughters-in-law, Patty Campbell and Mayme Campbell; grandchildren, Melissa Clark and husband, Scott, Michael Campbell, Kelly Campbell and Connor Campbell and great-granddaughter, Nealon Clark.A graveside service will be held at Restland Memorial Park in the Court of Trinity located at 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, Texas. The service will begin at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, April 30, 2013. A reception to celebrate her life will be held following the ceremony at Lakeview at Josey Ranch located at 2105 N. Josey Lane, Carrollton, Texas.Helen grew up in Helena, Arkansas and moved from there to Memphis, Tennessee before coming to Texas as quickly as she could in 1958. She and her young family settled in Carrollton, Texas where she was very active in the First Methodist Church. Helen loved to play bridge, do crossword puzzles and pamper her cats, Hail and Windy.
