Anita Castaneda, 88, of Plano, Texas, went to be with the passed away on September 22, 2021. She went very peacefully with her husband, son and daughter-in-law at her side.Anita was born in Dallas, Texas on January 8, 1933 to loving parents, Elias Z. and Anastacia RodriguezShe grew up in Dallas, where she met her husband, Louis Castaneda of 69 years. They had one son Ruben Castaneda.She is preceded in death by her parents, Elias and Anastacia, her brother, Elias Rodriguez, Jr. sister, Elizabeth Moreno and grandson Lenard Shane.She is survived by her husband of 69 years, Louis Castaneda; son, Ruben Castaneda and his wife Peggy, who reside in Plano. Her grandchildren, Roland Ray, Tonya Marie, Louis Anthony and Michael Alexander. Ten great grandchildren, six great great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was loving known to all as Mamo. She enjoyed talking about her grandchildren and loved having pictures of them up on her wall.She loved the Cowboys, you could hear her yelling for her team all over the house. She loved to do word searches and cross word puzzles, she let us know that is why her mind stay so strong. There was always a book and pen handy. She loved her glitter especially on her clothes, the more the better. She loved her Angels, she had angels everywhere.
